RCI offers you the option to rent nightly stays at low nightly rates at a variety of destinations. Depending on the resort, you may be able to check in any day of the week and stay for as many nights as you want, and you'll only pay for as long as you stay. At times, you may wish to share your RCI vacation benefits with family and friends. For an additional fee, a Guest Certificate ensures that guests will not experience difficulty upon arrival at a resort.
The person listed on the Guest Certificate must be at least 21 years of age (some resorts require guests to be older). The exchange or rental fees are separate payments. You may add a Guest Certificate any time up 3 days before the check-in day.
To add a Guest Certificate, once you have logged into your online account, click on the "My Account" tab at the top of the page. Under "Vacation Plan Details", select the "Confirmed Reservation" option. Scroll down to find the confirmation for which you are looking, then click on the "Create Guest Certificate" option located to the right of the confirmed exchange details. Please note that, according to RCI's Terms and Conditions, Guest Certificates cannot be sold or used for commercial purposes.

Click on the "Search for a Vacation" tab above the world map, and then look for the "Show all available RCI vacations" option. Once selected, click the "Update Search" button. This will show all available units regardless of the amount of Deposit Trading Power needed to exchange. You can then make the decision whether or not to combine your weeks, provided you have multiple deposits and/or Deposit Credits.
Once an Ongoing Search is started, you have the option to modify your current search or to "Take a Peek" at all available units without altering your search in any way.
To change your Ongoing Search, please log into your account and click on the "My Account" tab. In the "Vacation Plan Details" section, select the "Ongoing Searches" option. Once the applicable ongoing search is located, select the green "Modify Settings" box. Make the desired changes to your search and select the green "Continue" box at the bottom of the page. If you wish to return to your original search without saving any changes, select the "Reset Criteria" box instead.
Please note you cannot retain modified search parameters if any of the check-in dates are within 30 days.

You can exchange your deposited week from one year prior to through two years after the start date of the week you deposited. You have through the end of the month the deposit will expire, regardless of the specific date of your deposited week.
If you are unable to confirm an exchange before your deposited week is due to expire, you may purchase a Deposit Extension. You may extend your week for three months, six months and up to a period of 2 years. Additional extensions may be purchased, up to a maximum of one full year.
You may also choose to combine your expiring deposit with another deposit and/or Deposit Credit on your account. There is a fee to combine your deposit and/or Deposit Credit. After combining, the new Combined Deposit will have a Deposit Trading Power equal to the combined values of each deposit combined in the transaction. In addition, the Combined Deposit will be eligible for travel for 1 year from the date combined.

Your Ongoing Search is assigned a contact date when it is initiated. We will contact you by e-mail, mail, or telephone to advise of any matches or to discuss your request. However, if you contact us prior to the scheduled contact date, or if you view your request online, the account will be assigned a new contact date, based upon the fact that contact was made. You are welcome to check your search online at any time for an update on the status of your search.
As long as you have a Deposit Credit, or multiple deposits available, you may (for a fee) combine them into a new Combined Deposit with increased Deposit Trading Power that you can use at one time. For example, if you combine a Deposit Credit that has a Deposit Trading Power of 5 with a Deposit that has a Deposit Trading Power of 10, your Combined Deposit will have a Deposit Trading Power of 15.
If the Exchange Trading Power of your desired exchange vacation is less than the Deposit Trading Power of the weeks you have deposited, you will receive a Deposit Credit that can be used (or combined) toward a future exchange vacation. When doing this, the expiration date of the Deposit Credit will be the same as the expiration date of the Deposit used for the Exchange vacation.
