Located just 275 kilometres from Melbourne, a leisurely four-hour drive to these iconic limestone stacks will ensure you take in all the sights along the way.
Although not officially on the Great Ocean Road, you might begin your journey with a stop at Queenscliff. This historic seaside village on the Bellarine Peninsula boasts elegant Victorian buildings and picturesque fishermen’s cottages. Hesse Street will delight you with its galleries, shops and eateries as will Port Phillip Bay’s diving reefs and marine life.
From Queenscliff travel on to the village of Lorne, the perfect seaside location to relax and enjoy the shops, boutiques and café culture. If you’re a food and wine lover, Lorne makes a great stop, however, you can tantalise your taste buds all the way along the Great Ocean Road.
