Go Art and About in Australia
See Sydney through the eyes of its local talent with the festival-style Art and About programme. Touting its catch phrase ‘Art in unusual Places’, the programme is sure to amaze and intrigue with its infinite display of creativity.
From September to November, be dazzled by explosive cabaret acts from the 50s to 70s and witness psychedelic live shows imagined by rock music’s ‘Prince of Darkness’ Nick Cave. In December, stop by Lotus Lane to glimpse the dynamic art mural titled ‘To be free is to have no fear’ by artist Nadia Hernandez.
Previous installations include a water bar serving up water from different parts of Australia, and an art installation that involved painting trees blue with a biologically safe colouring agent.
