Section 1: Understanding Your RCI Points Membership

Expiring Points

Expiring points are the points that have already been saved over automatically for one year and now they are at the end of their use life. So in order not to lose them, below are some options in which we suggest you could explore.

If your points are due to expire you still have time to:

Exchange them for a great vacation at an RCI affiliated resort
The RCI Points programme gives you the flexibility to take a full week or just a few days – whatever best suits your schedule.

Send a Friend
If you have points you are unable to use, you can purchase an RCI Guest Certificate, so that friends and family can enjoy a great RCI vacation as a gift from you.*
Tip: You can add up to 4 names on your Points account. If you wish to purchase a vacation for any one of them then a guest certificate will not be required*. Please note that only the names of registered owners of the timeshare can be added to the account.

Extend Your Points
Points that you do not use within one Use Year are automatically saved into a second Use Year,** but if you need more time then for a small fee you can extend your points into a third year.

Transfer Your Points
If you do not plan to use your points, you can transfer them to another RCI Subscribing Member.†

* Guest Certificate recipients must be at least 21 years old.
**Saving Points is free of charge if you have used some of your Points by the end of the Use Year in which they were allocated. Otherwise a small transaction fee applies.
† A small fee applies. Please call for more information.
