With an Ongoing Search, you tell us your search criteria (such as dates, destinations, even specific resorts) and we will continue searching for you 24/7. As new inventory becomes available, we match Ongoing Searches with this new inventory before it is made available on RCI.com. Once a match is found, we will notify you to either confirm the exchange or release it and continue to search for another option.

What are the benefits of starting an Ongoing Search?

Save time and avoid hassles: When you start an Ongoing Search, RCI does the work for you. We search 24/7 for your exchange vacation, based on the criteria you enter. There’s no need to keep going back to check for your requested vacation. RCI will email you monthly with updates on the search progress and notify you when a match is found. To start an Ongoing Search, the Exchange Fee must be paid upfront (although Platinum members are not charged until we find a match!), but if a match isn’t found or accepted, the Exchange Fee is fully refundable¹!

Get prioritized access to newly member deposited inventory: When you start an Ongoing Search, you get prioritized access to member deposited inventory, giving you a better chance of finding the vacation you want.
