Section 1: Understanding Your RCI Weeks Membership

Cancelling Your Exchange

If you have already purchased Trading Power Protection, your cancellation will be covered . Please see the Trading Power Protection link below for more details.

If you have not purchased Trading Power Protection, to receive a full refund of your exchange fee, you must notify us of your cancellation within 24 hours of making the booking. The easiest way to do this is through your online account: See the Holiday Plans area (view ‘Manage Your Bookings’ topic below for details).

You can also cancel a confirmed Exchange Holiday at any time before its start date by:

• Email – see link to email on right hand side
• By telephone (see ‘Contact Us’ details link below).

Your full Deposit Trading Power will also be restored if you contact us within this time period.

Please note, refunds of exchange fees and restoration of Deposit Trading Power are not available if you cancel less than two days before the start of your Exchange Holiday.

If you cancel your exchange at any time before its start date, you may request another exchange against the Holiday Ownership rights which you have already deposited in the RCI Pool. However, as stated above, if we receive your notice of cancellation less than 48 hours before the start date of your exchange then, for the avoidance of doubt, the Deposit Trading Power of your Holiday Ownership rights may have reduced and your exchange fee will not be refunded.

We recommend that you purchase Trading Power Protection to safeguard your Trading Power in the event of having to cancel your Exchange Holiday. To find out more clicking the related topics link below.

Cancelling an Extra Holiday

If you cancel within 24 hrs of booking your Extra Holiday, we will refund you in full. Unfortunately, if you notify us after 24 hours, we are unable to offer any refund.

If you can’t go on your Extra Holiday for any reason, you can purchase a Guest Certificate to transfer the holiday to friends or family members who are not members of RCI. Find out more about Guest Certificates by clicking the related topics link below.
