When you deposit your vacation time with RCI, we assign it a Deposit Trading Power and hold it for you (for up to 2 years). If you don’t use your deposit, and don’t extend it, you lose the opportunity to vacation against it, which also means that you don’t get a vacation in return for the maintenance fees you already paid to your resort.

You can purchase a Deposit Extension for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, but only up to one year in total, which will save your deposit – giving you more time to book an Exchange vacation so you don’t miss out.
