10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | Breakfast: Check out Zazie, a petite French bistro and popular brunch spot with a menu that’ll have your mouth watering.
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Fisherman’s Wharf and Alcatraz: After breakfast, head to Fisherman’s Wharf to check out this northern waterfront tourist area. This area boasts souvenir shops and postcard views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Many of the tours to Alcatraz take off from Fisherman’s Wharf, so don’t forget to purchase a tour ticket and take some time to explore the former prison.
3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Lunch: When you return from Alcatraz, grab a late lunch at Pier Market. This waterfront seafood restaurant and market offers fresh fish, patio seating, and picturesque views of the bay that’ll make all your friends and family jealous. 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. | Golden Gate to the Painted Ladies: After lunch, grab a ride to the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate State Park. Aside from beautiful views, you can also spend the afternoon exploring a host of destinations including the Conservatory of Flowers, California Academy of Sciences, and the Park Windmills. Afterwards, head out to see the “Painted Ladies” right in time for sunset.
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Dinner: Venture to the other side of Alamo Square Park and grab dinner at Brenda’s Meat and Three. This homey café offers Southern comfort food with a Big Easy spin.
