Destination Highlights
The atmosphere at Coronado Beach is quiet and serene and is very safe as most places in Panama. Coronado is extremely quiet compared to other tourist destinations along the Pacific coast and Panama, as it was the first area to be developed and has an excellent infrastructure. Tourists will find fine restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, hospitals, banks, shops, variety stores and more. It is very close to Punta Chame, which is another popular place from where you can see the city of Panama on a clear day. Coronado also offers nice golf courses, horseback riding and water activities, or just relax with the fun and entertainment that is provided for you and your family.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
Leaving the airport, continue along the Avenue which runs towards the South Corridor. Take Avenida Corridor Sur up to Avenida Balboa, this will take you straight to the Bridge of the Americas, once you have crossed the bridge, you will be on the Interamericana Highway, go straight about 55 minutes to get to Playa Coronado. The complete route from the airport to the resort will take 75 minutes.
