From the resort, there is direct access down to the beach and the Umtamvuna river. There is a hiking and jogging trail on site. There is a shop at the pool area, which stocks most requirements, as well as a take-away facility. Baby cots are available on request. Caribbean Estates is a private sectional title development, so the office hours are: Monday and Friday: 8am to 8pm; Tuesday to Thursday: 8am to 4:30pm; Saturdays and Public Holidays: 9am to 12 noon.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From Durban International Airport, take the N2 south. Travel to Port Edward. You will pass a tollgate on the N2 south at Port Shepstone. Continue for approx 3km after the traffic lights at Port Edward. Caribbean Estates is on the left hand side of the main road, just before crossing over the Umtamvuna River to the Wild Coast Sun.
