Ferienclub Grundlsee is located on the shores of picturesque Grundlsee Lake in the famous Salzkammergut area. During the summer, the area is very popular with hikers, who can enjoy the lovely mountain scenery. It is especially beautiful in spring and autumn. There are boats for rent on the lake, horseback riding, and a fitness trail nearby. In winter, there is a network of cross-country skiing trails close by and a choice of downhill ski areas within a half an hour drive.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

BY AIR: Nearest Airport: Salzburg 105kms BY ROAD: From Salzburg take motorway A1 (direction to Linz, Vienna) until Thalgau (about 14kms). At exit B158 to Fuschl. Wolfgansee, follow road to Bad Ischl. At Bad Ischl, follow the signs for Graz/Bad Goisern on the B145. At Bad Aussee follow road to Grundlsee. There you will find signs to the resort. BY TRAIN: There is a service from Salzburg to Bad Aussee, then take a taxi to resort. It takes 2.45 hours by train.
