In fact, Cozumel is one of the world's foremost diving destinations. You might just see the elusive sea horse but certainly you'll encounter lots colorful sea life along the Great Mayan Reef. In fact, it's the second largest reef in the world. Enjoy these creatures from the comfort of a glass-bottom boat or even from a submarine. Tour the jungle on horseback, ATV or in a jeep. The island is dotted with Mayan ruins, and they truly are a must-see.
Directions from Major Airport to Resort
From the International Cozumel airport it is 8 miles towards the south of the island. From Cancun International airport take transportation to Playa del Carmen which is 37.5 miles. From Playa del Carmen to Cozumel its about 30 minutes by ferry. The cost of the taxi from the airport to Playacar is approx. US$45.00 for 4 persons and the cost of the ferry is approx. US$7.00 per person.
