Destination Highlights

At the geographical center of New Hampshire is Ashland, which is also in the Lakes District of the state and is adjacent to the White Mountain National Forest. The area is the proverbial 'winter wonderland', but in all seasons provides the vacationer with beautiful views, such as those found at Little Squam Lake (the original lake of On Golden Pond). It also delivers outdoor recreations, dining, antiquing, and shopping. The Ashland area is just a scenic hour's drive to majestic Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 feet.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

The nearest major airport is Boston Logan Airport, about 120 miles away. A smaller airport is available in Manchester, NH, about 65 miles away. Take I-93 north to Exit 24 at Ashland. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Rt. 3 North. Go under expressway and follow Rt. 3 North for 0.9 miles. You will see a Cold Spring sign on your right. Turn right at this sign and proceed 2 1/2 miles down this road (North Ashland Road). The reception office will be on your right. ***If you have special needs, the resort will do their best to accomodate you if given advance notice, ie) first floor units, phone 603/536-4600***
