Destination Highlights

Brockwood Hall is just a few miles from the coast in the south of the beautiful Lake District. It adjoins the National Park, with access to some of the country's most spectacular lakes and mountain scenery. The resort sits in the peaceful surroundings of mature woodland close to Black Coombe Fell. Take a ramble through the woodland to see the active badger tunnels, from which Brockwood takes its name. Each season has something different to offer with the landscape changing vibrantly with each one. The lively Lake District venues are only a short drive away.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

BY AIR: Manchester - 140 miles BY ROAD: From the airport, take the M6 north. Exit the M6 at junction 36. Follow signs for the A590 (Barrow) and continue through Newby Bridge. After approx. 8 miles, take the right hand turn at Greenod onto the A5092 (A595) for Workington. Continue along, following the signs for Millom and Broughton-in-Furness.At the Millom/Halthwaites Church junction, proceed towards Workington and Whitehaven *DO NOT TAKE THE A5093 (LEFT) FOR MILLOM* The Brockwood Hall signpost is at this junction and the resort is approx. 1/2 a mile further along. Take the left hand turning for Dunningwell/Brockwood Hall, and left again at the top of the hill.
