Grange-over-Sands (4 miles) with shops and pubs, overlooks the bay with a fine, mile-long Edwardian promenade. Further east you will find Leven with Levens Hall. Morecambe Bay is close by, and both the Cumbria Coastal Way and the Cistercian Way run through Cark. The property is located just 2 miles from the historic village of Cartmel, with its 12th-century priory church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the North of England. Visit Cartmel Racecourse, the most picturesque racecourse in the country, with meetings on the late May and August bank holidays. Try the famous sticky toffee pudding shop in the village. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy the many walks with stunning views, right on your doorstep. Eeabank House makes for a perfect location from which to explore the Lakes. Directions from Major Airport to Resort

30 minutes from the M6. From the North or South leave the M6 at junction 36 onto the A591 signed South Lakes. Take the first exit off onto the A590 and follow the A590 until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit the B5271 signed Grange-Over-Sands, as you go through Grange-Over-Sands follow the B5227 to Flookburgh where when you reach the square you turn right on the B5278 signed Cark. You will pass the railway station on the right and over a railway bridge then down into the village of Cark where we are situated on the left opposite a small car park and play area. Alternatively follow the brown signs to Holker Hall.
