Steeped in history, the area is surrounded by historic homes, halls and castles including Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and Castle Howard. Whitby, 18 miles, is renowned for its connections with Bram Stokers Dracula and Captain James Cook. From here board a steam train and relax as it meanders its way through the glorious Esk Valley. Visit the walled city of York, 40 miles, famous for its minster, museums, art galleries and shopping. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 25 yards.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From York take the A64 bypass to Scarborough, at Staxton roundabout take the 2nd exit signed Folkton. Continue along and exit right to Hunmanby, follow the road into the village and you will see a large car park on your right hand side just opposite the church, turn in here and Denmark House is on your right very distinguished by the Stag coat of arms above the front door and next to the Pub.
