The Towers is a substantial harbour master's mansion (for a harbour never made), & was built by John Platt in 1872. On a grand scale of over 5000 sq ft, in a Gothic chateau style, it has been refurbished to an excellent standard. Located close to the beach, this detached property boasts flexible holiday accommodation including a fine cinema room with a beautiful hand painted domed ceiling, dining room with seating for 20 people, beach room, library & games room. There is a large kitchen with breakfast room, 10 bedrooms & living room. There is a superb Balinese bedroom with its ornate beamed & Hessian ceiling which like many rooms, benefits from magnificent views across to the Isle of Anglesey & Puffin Island. The lawned garden has an attractive ornamental pond with a Japanese 3-tier fountain surrounded by a 9-hole putting green. The driveway extends to the rear of the property where there is a further garden area & small orchard & parking for 10 vehicles.
