Enjoying its own private deck directly on the riverside, this terraced house is the perfect holiday getaway for those seeking great views and relaxing times. Keen fishermen with a rod licence can literally step down from the deck on to the boardwalk and fish in the river, which contains many species of fish including brown trout and sea trout. A bridal path runs along the fence, under the willow trees opposite the front door, which offers beautiful, unspoilt walks for miles along the rivers edge.

Thetford Forest offers walks, cycling & bike hire & often hosts open air concerts in the summer months. Lakenheath airbase offers a viewing platform for plane spotters, & RSPB Lakenham Fen offers great bird watching opportunities. The Norfolk Coast is also within reach. You can head to Hunstanton & enjoy fish & chips. Equally accessible for days out are the Hanseatic town of Kings Lynn, offers an amazing array of historic buildings & attractions in its old quarter, Ely with its stunning cathedral & Bury St Edmunds. The Sandringham Estate shouldnt be missed. The estate is open to visitors when the royals are not in residence. Shop and restaurant 1/2 mile, pub 1 mile.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From Kings Lynn, take the A10 heading towards Downham Market. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit on to the A134, heading towards Thetford. Continue along the A134 to Stoke Ferry. Stay on the A134 until you reach the roundabout by Grange Farm Touring Park/ Petrol Station, take the 3rd exit (Bridge Road).The Moorings is a left hand turn off of Bridge Road, justafter the riverbridge & parking is located on the square and is marked as number 16. From Thetford, take the A134, heading towards Kings Lynn. Proceed along this road until reaching the Grange Farm Touring Park (on right)/ Petrol Station (on left) roundabout. Takethe 2nd exit (Bridge Road). The Moorings is a left hand turn off of Bridge Road, just after the river bridge & parking is located on the square and is marked as number 16.
