Blackgang Chine is nearby, the oldest themed attraction in the UK & within easy reach are the Needles & Alum Bay. Attractions include Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Isle of Wight Pearl, Dinosaur Isle, Donkey Sanctuary & Calbourne Water Mill. Osborne House & Gardens, known for being Queen Victoria’s holiday residence, & Carisbrooke Castle are a short distance away. The sailing towns of Yarmouth & Cowes, & the popular resorts & Shanklin & Sandown are nearby. The island can be explored from open-top buses that stop regularly at various collection points. Directions from Major Airport to Resort

Take the ferry. Go through Godshill village & continue out of village for approx 2 miles. At roundabout turn right on B3327 passing through Wroxall & becomes Newport Road in Ventnor. From Fishbourne follow A3054 to Ryde then follow signs to Sandown & Shanklin. Proceed following signs to Ventnor town centre & then take the B3327 towards Newport/Wroxall, then as below. From Yarmouth, Proceed left onto A3054 to Newport then follow directions from Newport the same as above from Cowes. On B3327 as you approach the outskirts of Ventnor as you start to go down hill, on the 2nd bend just before large Primary School & Sports Centre there is a small turning. Go along Rew Lane past the farmhouse on the left & the courtyard development where the property is located is next on left.
