Flamborough is a small resort but has everything you need - local shops, restaurants, pubs & good old fish & chip shop. Along the coast are the RSPB Bempton Cliffs where you can see puffins & guillemots in their natural habitat & a magnificent display of over 200,000 seabirds. The spa town of Bridlington is 5 miles away. This is a traditional seaside resort. Take the train along the coast to Sewerby & visit the famous Sewerby Hall & Gardens. There is the famous Yorkshire Bell boat that takes the tourists along the coast and back again. There is also plenty of nightlife in Bridlington & the famous Spa Theatre provides many shows throughout the year. Along the coast at Scarborough is Stephen Joseph Theatre, known for its premieres of almost all of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays & also boasts the largest open air theatre in Europe.
