Lying on the edge of Pembrokeshire’s iconic National Park near the rolling Preseli Hills, this former primary school, originally built in 1897, has been restored to a very good standard. It offers a perfect getaway for a family, or couples looking to explore the rugged hills and Pembrokeshire’s spectacular coastline. The majestic Preseli Hills are just a stones throw away and offer numerous walks and mountain biking trails amidst the many iron age settlements dotted along its rugged terrain, including the Bronze Age Burial Chamber of Pentre Ifan Dolmen. The spectacular 187 mile coastal path is just a 15-minute drive away and home to rugged cliffs, horse shoe coves and golden beaches, including Newport and Poppit Sands which are renowned locally for its surf and water sports activities. The quaint, historic city of St David’s is within easy reach, featuring its magnificent 12th century cathedral and medieval ruins of Bishops Palace. Take a boat trip to the off shore island of Ramsey, cruising close to rare seabirds, grey seals and the occasional dolphin. Away from the coast, the charming market towns of Haverfordwest, Narberth and Cardigan offer a wide selection of gift shops, traditional pubs and highly acclaimed restaurants with freshly caught fish always on the menu.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From Cardigan, Follow the A478 towards Crymych for 6.6 miles until you reach the village of Blaenffos. Once in the village, the entrance to Hen Ysgol will appear on the left. There is ample parking available outside the property for 3 cars. From Narberth, at the Clunderwen roundabout at A40, head north on A478 for 16 miles passing through the villages Clunderwen, Llandissilio and Crymych. Continue forward into the next village of Blaneffos passing the village shop on the left and the entrance to Hen Ysgol will appear on the right. For Sat Navigation, the Post code SA37 OHU. The Sat Nav will take you to the centre of the village. Please follow direction above.
