Newbiggin-by-the Sea is a friendly village set around a pretty bay and has the only east coast offshore sculpture, Ebb n Flo, which comprises of two 5 metre tall bronze figures, standing on the breakwater and looking out to sea. The village also has a cliff top golf course, sailing club, the oldest lifeboat house in the UK and Maritime Heritage Centre. Druridge Bay, Farne Island, Holy Island, Northumberland National Park and Alnwick Castle and gardens are all within easy reach. Visit Woodhorn Museum, 1 mile, with its various exhibitions throughout the year. The county is reputedly the friendliest county in England and Graeg Neuk makes a wonderful homely base for exploring the many visitor attractions.
