Located along the delightful village road of Boxgrove, which has traditional shop and pub, this charming character cottage, dating back to 1750, adjoins the owners' home, and enjoys plenty of off road parking plus an enclosed garden and sitting out area. Having been extended, it has a large living room with sofa-bed, a separate dining room, kitchen, bathroom on the ground floor, and two bedrooms on the first floor with sloping ceilings.

The South Downs National Park is close by - ideal for scenic walks & cycling routes. Pagham Nature Reserve is the place to go for wildlife & bird-watching. Visit Arundel with its castle & various antiques & memorabilia shops, as well as Wild Fowl & Wetlands bird centre. The picturesque sailing village of Bosham with a historic church & crafts centre is also a short drive away. Slightly further are Portsmouth with maritime history & famous war ships, Spinnaker Tower & shopping outlets, or Brighton with its Royal Pavilion & cosmopolitan culture. Day trips to the Isle of Wight can be enjoyed from either Portsmouth or Southampton & the wonderful rolling heathland of the New Forest with roaming ponies can also be easily reached by car. Beach 6 miles. Shop 400 yards, pub 3/4 mile, restaurant 1/4 mile.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From the A3 Guildford, travel south and exit at Milford A283, Follow the A283 until the roundabout, take the Petworth exit. Follow the A283, then the A272 to Petworth,follow the one way andthenthe signs to Midhurst. Take the A285 in the direction of Chichester. Continue to Duncton Hill. Proceed towards Chichester and pass through the village of Halnaker. On the left is The Anglesey Arms pub. Just after this is a crossroads. Turn left signed Boxgrove. About 400 yards past the shop on the right is a large white house called Rosetree House. Turn in here. Look for the bus stop outside the house for an easy landmark.
