This delightful, thatched, Grade II listed holiday home, dates back in parts to the 1750s, and is set in an idyllic country setting overlooking fields. It is adjacent to the friendly owner's home. There is a part-time post office service within the grounds serving the locality. A warm welcome awaits you in this super property with many personal and thoughtful touches throughout. The interior has been tastefully styled, and offers homely and comfortable accommodation. The large lawned enclosed garden is a burst of colour, and nearby is the Alpaca Farm, worthy of a visit, as well as the meadow fields with swings and football facilities for children to play. Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From Lymington to Yarmouth (Wightlink Ferries). Exit ferry terminal & keep to left following sings to Newport A3054. After a short drive up a slight rise you will see the sea on your left, 50yds go through a small copse of trees & proceed to Horse & Groom pub, on left-hand side & turn opposite signed Wellow & Thorley continue until a turning on right which signed posted Wellow Rd continue on this road which will run into Main Rd, look out for a Bus Stop on your left and look for signs for the Post Office which will also be on your left turn into the off road parking just outside the black double gates and you will have arrived at Rossiters Cottage. If coming another ferry terminal go to Newport & take A3054 towards Yarmouth. Turn in opposite the Horse & Groom, then follow the above.
