Mount Hawke is a small village with a local shop, but for a wider choice, take a trip to St Agnes or Truro, the county capital, with gothic cathedral, cinema, theatre, restaurants, individual shops and indoor market. St Agnes boasts many cafes, restaurants, craft shops and galleries. An ideal centre for walking and exploring the Cornish coastline, cliffs and coves with an abundance of wildlife including porpoises and dolphins. The area is spoilt for beaches including Porthtowan, Trevellas Warren, Portreath and a little further afield, Perranporth with its beach bar right on the sand. The Eden Project near St Austell, Maritime Museum at Falmouth, Newquay Sealife Centre, Flambards Theme Park, Towan's Miniature Railway and numerous National Trust properties are all easily reached and provide a great day out for the family. Shop 700 yards, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

Take the A30 to the Chiverton Cross roundabout. Take the 3rd exit, signposted St. Agnes. At the next small roundabout, take the 2nd exit, signposted St. Agnes. Continue and then turn left at the staggered crossroads, signposted Mount Hawke. Turn almost immediately right signposted Mount Hawke. Continue along this road until you see the Mount Hawke village sign, continue and take the right hand fork at the crossroads, signposted village centre. Proceed through the village, down the hill, signposted Banns - DO NOT bear right with the road. Carry on to the bottom of the hill. At the bottom of the hill there is a signpost saying "weak bridge", and Bannsvale Farm entrance is on your left.
