Set within the Fenland village of Welney, Croft House is a rustic Victorian-style property which has been lovingly restored with authentic original features from its past. It keeps its original pine floorboards & doors (some with etched glass), slate fireplaces (one with Victorian tiles), plus the dinner set is English China from Royal Worcester. Previously the village shop, the glass frontage has been retained to allow the light to flood in, while wooden shutters have been thoughtfully placed to provide privacy to guests. The house has been furnished to provide lots of light & space for its guests & the owner has been careful to maintain floor space by using clever decorating tricks such as replacing heavy furniture such as wardrobes with artisan coat stands. And, after a long day of fun & adventures, you can relax at Croft House & enjoy sweet dreams in one of the high quality beds that have been provided for your comfort, just another reason why Croft House is such a great choice.
