Resort telephone number: XDIR

The Little House is just yards from the ‘Mineral Tramways Trail’, one of Cornwall’s many cycle networks that links the north coast at Portreath to the South coast near Falmouth. It is popular with walkers, cyclists, horse riders and sightseers as it passes through a rich mining heritage area, dotted with old mine archaeology. The world famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Lizard Peninsula, which is the location of Lizard Point and the most southerly point of the country, are all easily accessible from the property. Falmouth is also home to the National Maritime Museum, two yacht marinas and numerous National Trust gardens. A ferry to the Roseland Peninsula and a sightseeing trip along the River Fal to Truro are also available from one of the town quays. Truro is less than 5 miles away, with excellent shopping in the cobbled streets, fine dining in its many restaurants, bistros and cafés, a theatre and museum. Beach 6 miles. Shop, cinema, pub and restaurant 1¼ miles.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

Follow the A30 from Bodmin west towards Redruth. At the first roundabout with windmills carry straight on towards Redruth, not left to Truro. Road now single carriageway, ignore various left turns to Truro and continue to next roundabout (Starbucks opposite), turn left for Truro A390. After half a mile or so, take right turn to Chacewater. A mile to a T-junction, turn right still heading for Chacewater. Down the hill into Chacewater village, turn left directly after the Kings Head pub, 100 yards turn left down small lane signed to Twelveheads just ahead of Village Hall. Follow this narrow lane for about a mile and a half, Willow Bridge Cottage is on the left, drive in over the bridge. Not the drive with posts and ropes. You made it.
