This detached annexe for couples sits by the River Dove close to Hartington, an ideal location for exploring the National Park. With its riverside setting and surrounding Peak District countryside, this stone built annexe offers a peaceful retreat just a mile from the busy and popular village of Hartington. Located next door to the owner’s home, which was the local corn mill in years gone by, the beautiful gardens which surround the property still house the restored mill wheel and also offer the opportunity for fishing. Hartington itself has plentiful local amenities including pubs, cafés, a well stocked village store and even a famous cheese maker.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From the M6 Leave at junction 15 (Stoke). Pick up the A53 from Stoke to Leek, then A523 towards Ashbourne. After approx 3 miles turn left onto the B5053 to Warslow. Drive through Warslow and turn right onto the B5054 to Hartington.On crossing the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border (Hartington Bridge/River Dove) the property is immediately on the left hand side. From Buxton take the A515 towards Ashbourne. After approximately 10 miles pick up the B5054 on the right hand side signposted Hartington. Drive through the centre of Hartington on the B5054 towards Leek for approximately one mile and then the property will be found on the right hand side. For reference there is only this property in the postcode area.
