From Bryn-Y-Mel, visit Bishop’s Palace which was the retreat of choice for medieval bishops seeking solace from the everyday stresses of Church and State. The medieval bishops of St Davids were worldly men who enjoyed the privileges of wealth, power and status. Lamphey did not disappoint. A palace fit for a queen...or at least the occasional bishop. Following Bishops Palace why not enjoy a romantic evening meal at Lamphey Hall with some of the finest local produce including fresh line caught sea bass and all in within walking distance. A five minute drive from Lamphey, you can enjoy a walk at Freshwater East or further along the coast you will stumble across the renowned walled town and beach of Tenby at a little under twenty minutes’ drive.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From the M4 take the A40 from Carmarthen signposted St Clears, from St Clears take the A477 signposted Pembroke Dock. Follow this road for around 18 miles and follow through the roundabout in Carew staying on the A477. Once in the Village of Milton take the next turning left onto Stephens Green Lane signposted Lamphey. Follow this road through to a T junction and turn right onto the Ridge Way and following sign posts for Lamphey. Continue on this road and into the village of Lamphey and then turn left onto the A4139 continue through the village passing the village shop and filling station on your right, then take the second turning right onto Honey Hill Grove. As you enter the development Bryn-Y-Mel is on your right hand side with parking to the fore and stairway leading to the property.
