Ashbourne is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is an ideal base for a short break or longer holiday. If you enjoy stately homes, you are in for a treat with Chatsworth House, Sudbury Hall, Hardwick Hall, Kedleston Hall, Tissington Hall and Haddon Hall to name just a few, and are all within an easy drive. Ashbourne is known as the ’Gateway to the Peak District National Park’ and is an ideal base from which to visit many attractions, including Alton Towers Theme Park, eight miles, and the Heights of Abraham cable car rides at Matlock Bath. Beautiful Dovedale is within five miles and the Tissington Trail is within half a mile. This is the perfect destination for couples, families and groups of friends wishing to holiday together, and there is something for every budget and taste.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

A515 Ashbourne Head North East A515 towards Edlaston Lane, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Clifton Road A515 and continue along this road through 2 roundabouts. Turn left onto Compton Street at the traffic lights south end of Compton proceed up Compton for 100 metres, Malbons yards on your left between Bennys and the White Peak Dental Clinic. Lace Cottage is immediately ahead through the gate on the left hand side. Car park further down Malbons yard.
