Renowned for its smuggling past, explore the miles of caverns at Smugglers Adventure, deep within the West Hill. Indulge in some first-class fish and chips which couldn't be fresher and stroll past the iconic net huts. Walk through the underwater tunnel at the Blue Reef Aquarium with snakes and bearded dragons in the reptile area. Hunt for the dinosaur fossils at low tide. Stroll along Hastings Pier, and grab the UK's best ice cream. Visit the Seaside amusements and arcades or the Source Skate Park for the young and fearless all within walking distance. Learn about the 1066 story at Hastings Castle, the first of many built by the Normans. Battle Abbey and Rye are both well worth a visit and for miles of golden sand, visit Camber. Beach 150 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

Exit the M25 at junction 5 and follow the A21 to Hastings and follow the signs to the seafront. At the seafront turn left and follow the sea road - (A259). Continue across the roundabout with a central fountain, follow the road along with the fun fair and amusements on your right. Go through the traffic lights and as you enter The Bourne - still the A259 - the Stables Theatre is on your left, indicate right, continue right into Harold Road and continue bending right into All Saints Street - one way - 61 is towards the end on the left hand side with a twitten running alongside it. It is possible to unload outside and then go and park in a carpark along the sea front.
