Close by lies the Hanseatic port of Kings Lynn with its historic Old Quarter, which offers numerous guided walks including a ghost walk. You can drive to Kings Lynn within minutes, or take the charming West Lynn ferry, which crosses the river & delivers you right in the heart of old town. Also within easy reach, lies the picturesque Norfolk coastline, an AONB. For traditional seaside attractions including a Sealife Centre, amusements & a small fair, head to Hunstanton, where the golden sands really do seem to go on for miles. In fact, beach lovers & bird watchers alike will be spoilt for choice with beaches, pretty marshes & coastal walks. The small city of Ely is worth a visit too, with its commanding cathedral, named the 'Ship of the Fens' & its charming stained glass museum.
