Mid-way between the north & west shores, ideally situated for both the town centre & exploring the famous Great Orme, where you can take the tram, the only cable operated street tramway in Britain, travel on the UK’s longest cable car ride, take a guided tour round Marine Drive on a vintage coach, or underground to the 4,000 year old copper mines. Walk to the restaurant quarter of town & enjoy a meal & night out at one of the many pubs & restaurants. Children will love the nearby Bonkerz Fun Centre, whilst the town centre offers many shops. At the other end of the promenade is Venue Cymru theatre & arena, providing excellent entertainment throughout the year. Venturing out of Llandudno, try the town of Conwy with its Edward I castle & almost complete town walls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, whilst the Conwy Valley is home to Surf Snowdonia, the world’s first artificial surfing lagoon. The Snowdonia National Park is close by car, & the Isle of Anglesey also makes for a great day out.
