A fantastic family property, this traditional Welsh barn is charming and characterful. It offers stunning views of the Black Mountains and is surrounded by fields and farmland which are perfect for walking. Parc Farmhouse is a detached traditional Welsh long barn, well over 100 years old and converted into a family home by the present owner’s father in the early 1970s. Now offering comfortable and characterful holiday accommodation, the ground floor bedrooms are where the old cow sheds used to be, and the first floor bedrooms have Apex roofing. There are beams, exposed stonework, wooden floors and a lovely fireplace with a wood burner for cosy evenings. The large farmhouse kitchen is a great place for breakfast and informal dining, and the spacious lounge also offers a more formal dining space. There is even a charming entrance room which has been perfectly adapted into a children’s play area. The patio to the front of the house is a perfect suntrap for enjoying a drink.
