Inveruel is a stunning, property situated on the quiet coastal road overlooking Loch Riddon on the Cowal Peninsula with its own boat mooring & spacious, enclosed garden. This self catering cottage has lovely views over the sea loch & surrounding hills from all main rooms. It has been finished to a very good standard with solid oak floors downstairs & oak finishes throughout. It has a state of the art air heat recovery system supplying the underfloor heating & a heat recovery ventilation system. The main living space is open plan combining the living, dining & kitchen areas into a fantastic living space for all the family to gather. The living room has two large windows ensuring guests have a great view when relaxing with a wonderful open fire with oak mantle piece. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes a large, wooden family dining table. Downstairs has a spacious double bedroom with dressing area, TV, DVD player & an en-suite. Upstairs has four further bedrooms all with loch views.

The shoreline is accessed via the other side of the quiet country lane & a canoe or kayak can be launched from here. A boat mooring is available on request to the owner & boats can be launched locally. The wildlife here is fantastic; from the cottage one can see a variety of bird life. Otters have regularly been spotted in front of the house. The Argyll Forest, part of the gorgeous Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, is on the doorstep & has many forest tracks, marked walks, cycle ways & waterfalls to explore. A number of public gardens are located in the area such as Ardkinglas, Crarae & Benmore Botanic Gardens. At Colintraive there is a short ferry crossing over to the picturesque Isle of Bute. Tighnabruaich has a sailing school & a selection of small shops. Dunoon has good shopping, leisure facilities & a small cinema. Inveraray is also a great day out with the Castle, the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll & the 19th century Inveraray Jail. Shop, pub & restaurant 3 miles.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From Glasgow (Erskine Bridge) take A82 north (at Loch Lomondside) for 26 miles to Tarbet & then to Arrochar. Then take A83 (towards Campbeltown) over 'Rest & Be Thankful' & after 5 miles take A815 on left to Strachur. At Strachur turn right on to A886 continue to junction on A8033 approx 15 miles. Stay on A886 & after approx 3 miles go right onto B866 (signed Coastal Route). Follow single track road for 1/2 mile & Inveruel is on the left. From Western Ferries at Hunters Quay, Dunoon, turn right & follow the road past Holy Loch Marina to the T-junction. Turn right onto the A815 (signed Glasgow) for just under a mile. Turn left onto B836 (signed Colintraive) for 9 miles until T-junction turn left onto A886. After 2 miles turn right onto B866 (signped Coastal Route) & follow as above.
