Saint Moling's Holy Well, an area of natural & stunning beauty, is close by. It is a peaceful retreat & its holy water has been known to cure in the past. Within a 10 min drive is the village of Inistioge, known as the 'Jewel of the South East' & where many films have been made. The neighbouring counties of Waterford & Wexford can be reached within 20 min. New Ross is close by with its famous Dunbrody Famine Ship & visitor centre, & of course the John F. Kennedy Monument & Memorial Park. Wexford has some beautiful beaches to explore, or visit Reginald's Tower Exhibition Centre & a crystal factory with guided tours at Waterford. For hill walking, the South Leinster Way is nearby, & for fishing, there are great fishing villages on the River Nore. A little further a field is vibrant medieval Kilkenny city, where numerous festivals are held throughout the year. It offers fine dining & traditional music including one of Ireland's most haunted pubs! Shop & pub 3.5 miles, restaurant 5 miles.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From Dublin Follow M7 out of Dublin & join M9 signposted Waterford. Exit J11 on M9 signposted Mullinavat. On slip road follow signpost to New Ross R704 Continue until you reach the turning signposted 'Thomastown' on left (windmills on your right) - road L3418. Continue for 2.5 miles passing through 2 small crossroads. Then turn left (cottage up on the hill) - continue until you reach the cottage on the left hand side. From Rosslare Harbour Follow N25 all the way to New Ross Town. Drive over the bridge still on N25 & take turning to right just after bridge onto R704. Continue until a road on right hand side signposted Thomastown- road L3418 (windmills should be on your left). Turn here. Continue as above.
