Attractions in Kent include the famous city of Canterbury, boasting a stunning cathedral, dominant city walls, boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Take a ferry trip over to France from Dover to Calais, or by train from Ashford through the Channel Tunnel, and enjoy sightseeing. Dover Castle sits proudly overlooking the town and is well worth a visit. Known as the ‘Key to England’, the castle boasts 2000 years of history and includes a Roman lighthouse, Saxon church and a Norman keep. Travel up the coast to the fishing town of Deal and sample fish and chips on the promenade or enjoy a stroll at Viking Bay in Broadstairs. Beach 4 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

From M20: Continue onto A20 through round hill tunnel Take A260 exit towards Canterbury At roundabout take first exit onto A260 Folkestone Turn first left onto Alkham Valley Road At roundabout take 2nd exit and stay on Alkham Valley Road Once in village of Alkham turn left onto Slip Lane immediately after The Marquis Hotel and Restaurant Take the first right and follow the road up the hill and property will be on the left after about 1 mile. From A2: Follow signs to Lydden on A2. At traffic lights turn right to Lydden. Continue onto Lydden Hill and upon entering village of Lydden you will pass The Lydden Bell on your right, turn right approx 500 metres past The Lydden Bell onto Warren Lane. Property will be found after about 1.5 miles on the right.
