Varied walks can be enjoyed direct from the door, with the surrounding countryside adjoining the 400 acre estate of National Trust’s Hardcastle Crags. The beautiful wooded valleys with ravines, streams and waterfalls are rich in wildlife and contain over 25 miles of footpaths. Directions from Major Airport to Resort

SAT-NAV users please use HX7 7EP then follow instructions below. Exits M62: J21 coming from west, or J24 coming from east. From Halifax: Follow the signs for A646 towards Burnley into Hebden Bridge. Pass straight through the first two sets of traffic lights and over the river. Climb the hill, follow the road to the right. After leaving the 30mph, take the 2nd un-marked private road on RIGHT. There is now a section of narrow single carriageway controlled by temporary traffic lights, the access track is immediately AFTER this narrow section. Follow this road to a fork, bear right into a drive where you will see a large garage. You can see Lee Cottage on the stone drive post as you enter. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT to turn right BEFORE the traffic lights, this is steep, narrow, slippery ROAD!
