Much Dewchurch holiday cottages are situated within the peaceful surroundings of 230-acres of fields, woodland and lakes, with panoramic views of the Black Mountains, perfect for long rambling walks. Much Dewchurch cottages, are converted from the old Scudamore racing stables, they overlook the beautiful, tranquil village of Much Dewchurch with a cider farm next door and the local 14th century pub only a 5-minutes walk.

Visit the pretty market town of Ross-on-Wye in the heart of the Wye Valley, Hay-on-Wye renowned for its literary festival and known as the book capital of the world and Ludlow, famous for its culinary treats and fine foods. Brecon town and the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park is within easy driving distance. Symonds Yat and Yat Rock is worth a visit and well known for its nesting peregrine falcons and wonderful views of the Wye Valley. Fishing, canoeing, climbing, golf and riding can all be found within the local area. There are numerious places of historical interest to visit, with many castles, museums, historical houses and ancient churches. Shops 1½ miles and pubs ½ mile.

Directions from Major Airport to Resort

Going west on the M50 towards Ross-on-Wye, take the 3rd exit off the Wilton roundabout onto the A49 to Hereford. After 5.4 miles turn left onto the B4348 to Wormelow. Follow the road for 3.1 miles until you reach a T junction. Turn right onto the A466 then approx 500 yards turn left back onto the B4348 to Much Dewchurch. Approx 1 mile to village. Enter the village and carry on down the hill. Approx 200 yds take a right turn, opposite the church st back off the road and 10 yards before the Black Swan pub on the right. Carry on up the lane and Much Dewchurch Cottages are 0.5 miles further on the left. Reception can be found in the courtyard by the holiday cottages, attached to the main house.
