Destination Highlights

The magical village of San Cristobal de las Casas is one of the most beautiful colonial cities of Mexico with its cobbled and gentle streets, flanked by houses with large flaps of red fabric and flower-filled patios; streets where religious monuments are discovered uder the influence of the viceroyal Mexican and Central American art. There are streets where it is possible to see the walk of the indigenous people of neighboring villages, who come to offer textiles, ceramics, fruits and vegetables in the bustling markets of the city. In a nutshell, an amazing city that invites you to explore and discover it by walking, and allows you to discover a plenthora of interesting things on each corner. From cuisine from all parts of the world, museums, arts, crafts and music, which are the merging of modern and indigenous cultures. Certainly, without a doubt, a unique place with welcoming atmosphere that makes this city a magical place.
