A leafy residential suburb of Cuernavaca, Jiutepec has mild temperatures year-round thanks to its location in the valley of the Sierra de Chichinautzin. The area is home to museums, archaeological sites, churches and tropical gardens, and was once the summer residence of Aztec emperors who sought refuge in the balmy climate.
