Shenandoah Valley
Forget the snowy peaks of Europe; take a flight over to Massanutten, Virginia, for a fun-filled outdoor family getaway. Situated in the majestic Shenandoah Valley, this year-round Virginian resort has ski and golf facilities as well as a themed water park. The main attraction, obviously, is the snow. You can choose to ski, snowboard, snow tube or even spend a magical evening night skiing with your family. All 14 of the resort’s ski trails are lit up, creating a memorable and atmospheric winter wonderland.
In summer, kids will love the indoor and outdoor water park, having their choice of ‘Meltdown Slides’, ‘Inner Tube Slides’ and ‘Avalanche & Skyline Falls’. Everyone can get involved – if you dare.
