My family has been Timeshare owners for over 20 years. I have tried on four separate occasions over
the last 15 years to get a timeshare exchange at Walt Disney World with RCI, to stay on property, and last year we finally hit the jackpot, not once but twice!!! I couldn’t believe my ears when I received the call that two weeks had come through, one
at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas and one at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge villas. So in April this year my husband and I took our 3 children to Florida for our big Disney Vacation. These 2 timeshare resorts were just
The simple things...
From cold and now earthquake affected Christchurch an annual highlight for us is to have a winter timeshare ‘escape ‘ to somewhere warm. Our favourite Resort and place is The Beach House in Coolangatta. Flying into the Gold Coast Airport
we can catch a local bus or taxi and be sitting in a Unit overlooking the beach and up the Coast to the Surfers ‘skyline’ within 20 minutes of clearing customs. The staff at the Beach House are exceptional – we know this because we have been coming to stay there for more than 15 years most winter school holidays. They ‘run’
a great activities program for the children, including teenagers and our
spectacular and Disney really do know how to cater to their guests. Sitting on the balcony watching the giraffes, zebras, kudu, gazelle etc grazing just below at Animal Kingdom Lodge was just amazing and my kids absolutely loved it, particularly my seven year old. The hotel rooms were large and the facilities were brilliant but the
best thing for us was the Samawati Springs kids water play area where my 18 month old son could play safely in this purpose built area. We could have spent all day every day just at the pool. They had kids activities on all day long and the marshmallow roast
son has the most amazing memories of fun times had in Coolangatta. Now our foster daughter is getting to
enjoy the experience and already the Activities Officer, Marty, is a favourite, just as he was with James. Being on the southern part of the Gold Coast still gives us ready accessibility to all the ‘attractions’ (including the Theme Parks, etc.) but enables us not to
need hire a car but walk everywhere
to get anything required. Although
we own timeshare in NZ we have
been fortunate in always securing an exchange or very occasionally buying a rental week at the Beach House or Beachcomber through RCI. If you want
as the sun went down was a fantastic end to each day. Wilderness Lodge Villas were a different experience again but equally as impressive and we loved the evening outdoor movies by Bay Lake, and of course the marshmallow roast. Disney World is an awesome holiday destination and we would love to go back one day, even just to stay at these amazing Disney Hotels. Thanks RCI.
