While we can't travel at the moment we can all enjoy the holiday memories we've created so far.
We've put together some of our member's past holiday memories and stories in this blog to help us all relive our fondest holiday moments.

We have had so many amazing exchange experiences with RCI. Vancouver Island, out in the north eastern Pacific Ocean, is an RCI exchange that stands out for us. The scenery there is idyllic, we found so many wonderful parks and gardens to wander around and explore.
In all the years we have been travelling with RCI, we have never had a bad experience with our accommodation or destination; they have all been exceptional. We definitely prefer being in an apartment, rather than a hotel - it's just a much easier and more comfortable experience. You can please yourself when you get up, and take your time about starting the day; you can cook in your resort or choose to go out to a restaurant for dinner, the options are endless. It is such a relaxing way to holiday.
We holiday a lot in America as a family, but we love Orlando the most. Although my daughter, Laura, is now 32, and my niece, Emily, is 26, we all still go to Orlando together. Laura and Emily head straight off to the Walt Disney World and Universal Studios parks, but John and I enjoy shopping, sunbathing, and visiting Wild Florida, which is a small park just outside Orlando, with a zoo where you can have one-to-one encounters with the animals. There are some unusual creatures there and I actually got to hold a sloth, which was an incredible experience! We love Wild Florida because it is so quiet and laid back, in contrast to the busy theme parks.
Carmel and Ian
We have had some great holidays with RCI and made some lovely memories. We have been all over the world with our exchanges, including Portugal, Mexico, Orlando for Walt Disney World, Loch Lomond in Scotland, the Canaries, and we even went on a canal boat, which was one of the best holidays we've ever had! I recommend doing that at least once.
After my son’s amazing backpacking tales, I decided that Phuket was where I wanted to go for my 60th birthday, so we planned our exchange well in advance so we could make sure we got the accommodation we really wanted. Ian and I decided to stay away from the busy cities, so we made the gorgeous LHC Allamanda Laguna Phuket (4973) our base. Phuket is such a stunning place I can barely describe it. We got out and about every day - we are not really ones to lie on a beach - and it was still the most relaxing holiday we’ve had.

Tom and I bought timeshare 30 years ago at Kilconquhar Castle Estate and Country Club (0493) in Fife, Scotland. While we have always returned to our home resort, as well as others in Scotland, we have also used our timeshare with RCI membership to enjoy a world of holidays around the globe. We live in Fife and so have a great affinity with the splendid Scottish countryside. We are regular visitors to Staffin, in the Isle of Skye, it is such a relaxing rural retreat and the scenery is simply stunning.
However, we love the freedom to travel, safe in the knowledge that wherever you go in the world, you will always get good quality accommodation in the timeshare properties which are signed up to the RCI holiday exchange programme.
We actually bought our timeshare to exchange it to allow us to stay in different holiday places and we have travelled the world with RCI, most recently celebrating my 60th birthday on Australia's Gold Coast. Having converted our owned week at Kilconquhar to RCI Points, we found that we can get three weeks' holiday from our RCI Points each year now.

We took our daughter Rhiannon and her partner Adam with us and stayed in Dalat. The culture is wonderful, and the Vietnamese people are so welcoming and friendly. It is a very traditional place, steeped in history, though in some areas it is becoming a little more modern. I did see an older woman riding her bicycle while balancing scale baskets on her head - it is a really iconic image of life in this part of the world.
One day, we visited the Truc Lam Monastery by getting the cable car down from the nearby Robin Hill. The view across the lush pine forests as we descended, was stunning and the journey was so tranquil. When we arrived at the Monastery, one of the monks came out to talk to us and he said he had been living there for 28 years, which was quite impressive! From our resort, we could hear them singing and the gong chiming in the evening, which was so calming - our beautiful resort, Terracotta Resort Dalat (DE46), really was in the perfect location.
Anna and Ilya
My husband, Ilya, and I became RCI members in 2012. When we had our second child we began to think about the options for quality family holidays, as we believe this is a big part of our life together. Before the birth of our children, my husband and I travelled a lot, so we know how important it is to be comfortable while holidaying. We really wanted to enjoy home-from-home comforts and that’s why timeshare is perfect for us.
We decided to buy timeshare at a Holiday Club Finland resort, becoming RCI members at the same time so we could do holiday exchanges into different resorts in Finland and further afield. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made! We carefully studied all the advantages of owning timeshare and agreed it was just right for our family.
Since 2012, we have made 23 holiday trips with RCI and every time we have had a great holiday. Myself, Ilya, and our two daughters, Sofia and Maria, have travelled to Finland and Sweden so far, as we love those destinations and have visited a lot of different resorts in these countries. I do believe that the geography of our trips with RCI will expand in the future and we are now looking forward to experiencing new places together as a family.
Len and Gill
We have been holidaying in Tenerife for around 17 years and it is still our favourite holiday destination, after all that time. From sandy shores to the tip of Mount Teide, the largest Canary island really packs a punch when it comes to fun in the sun all year round. Tenerife deserves the title of ‘Island of Eternal Spring’ as the weather is great all year round, which we love. There is so much to do, you'll never be bored, no matter what kind of holiday you're looking for. Gill and I like to walk most days and you can walk from Los Cristianos all the way to Costa Adeje, which is great. There are so many bars and restaurants along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to stop off for a refreshing drink and to people watch in the sun.
My real passion is golf so I always try to get at least one game in. Buenavista in the north and the championship course in Adeje, are both brilliant, but one of the most impressive courses is La Tecina, which is on the island of La Gomera. The views from the course are beautiful and on a clear day you can see Tenerife with Mount Teide rising up in the distance. You can get the ferry over to the island and they organise everything for you - the crossing, the taxi, the golf and the overnight stay at a hotel. After a day on the course, we get the cliff lift down to the local village for dinner. It is a typical Spanish village where the locals eat outside and chat in the evenings, which is an enjoyable way to end the day.
