IN 3 STEPS! Step 1:
Deposit your week
Deposit your week! Doing it helps increase your vacation options. You can deposit your week up to two years in advance of its start date or as late as one month before the start date, and your travel window can give you up to three years to take your vacation.
Step 2:
Finding the dream holiday
Use the Vacation Planning Worksheet to define the vacation experience you want. Then look up the Directory for more information on all RCI affiliated resorts and possible destinations. When you’ve decided on the vacation you want, contact an RCI Vacation Guide to make all necessary arrangements.
Or you can go to RCI.com to find additional details, member reviews and availability of the resorts you’re interested in using the new and enhanced search features on the site. If the resort you want is not available immediately, start a convenient personalized search for it. Once you initiate a search, your work is done. There’s no need for you to check on the status of your request; we will contact you as soon as a match is found.
Step 3:
Confirm your exchange and enjoy your vacation
Once the system has found a vacation that matches your search, you’ll exchange your deposited week either online or with a Vacation Guide to close your search and complete the transaction.
You’ll receive an email confirmation from us, verifying the resort and your check-in date. Time to start packing!

Plan Early
Deposit your week and request for an exchange as early as possible because starting early increases your vacation options!
Be Flexible
It’s always good to be open to the type of vacation you’d like to experience. Keep your options open and you’ll find that it’s easier to find a great vacation quickly. Remember that RCI Subscribing Members from around the world are either continually depositing their vacation weeks into the RCI exchange system or exploring their options and requesting for an exchange. The more choices you can consider, the more likely you’ll find a match.
Requesting a
Comparable Exchange
We aim to provide all members with exchange vacations that are comparable to the weeks they own and deposit into the system. It may also be easier to exchange a vacation when you request for something comparable to the vacation week you already own. So, if you deposit a two-bedroom, it’s advisable to request a two-bedroom unit (or even a smaller one).
