Pattaya
Ready, Set, Go, Go, Go...
All visitors to Pattaya face a challenging problem - Where do you start?
A good starting point will be Pattaya Beach and Jomtien Beach with their endless array of watersport activities. But there’s lots to do even if you stay out of the sea. In fact, if you’ve had your fill of beach resorts you’re in luck.
Believe it or not in Pattaya you can discover masks made from human skin, shrunken heads, 4-eyed humans, a replica of the Titanic made from a million matchsticks and many others at Ripley’s Believe or Not Museum.
At The Bottle Art Museum, you’ll be captivated by miniature art in, you guessed it, bottles. From Buddha images to typical Thai houses to Chinese palaces to miniature replicas of famous buildings. Simply magical.
But the real magic is found at Tuxedo Magic Theatre. The theatre is a spellbinding collection of everything magic and magical.
If your one desire is to be under
a spell then, abracadabra, there’s Underwater World Pattaya. Swimming with the fishes take on new meaning. Its 105-meter-long acrylic pedestrian tunnel, the longest in Asia lets you discover colorful
marine species, exotic corals, hungry predator fish, and even a sunken ship.
Pace too slow for you?
Pattaya Water Park offers an amusement park, jacuzzi and giant water slides. While Pattaya Park Tower, the highest seaside tower
and revolving restaurant in Thailand will take your breath away, literally. Overcome vertigo on the Observation deck on the 55th floor, or enjoy the death-defying Tower Jump, Speed Shuttle and Sky Shuttle.
Coming back down to Earth, there’s Pattaya Elephant Village a popular destination that leaves you memories you’ll never forget. The ingenious Monkey Training Centre where primates do things that put humans to shame. The Khao Khiao Open Zoo where over 300 species, and 8,000 animals roam free over 2,000 acres in the Khao Khiao - Khao Chomphu Wildlife Reserve.
Just when you think you’ve seen, and done it all, the sun begins to set, and another must-see attraction of the city rouses itself before you.
The nightlife. But that’s another story altogether.
