The Gold Coast, located in Queensland, is world famous for its beaches, nightlife, shopping, theme parks and tropical hinterland.
With a subtropical climate, and 287 days of sunshine a year, you can bet your last breath there’s never a dull moment.
So take a deep breath, and let’s cowabunga! Life’s truly a beach here. Surfer’s Paradise, Broadbeach, and Kirra Point, to name 3, are part of 70 kilometres of uninterrupted coastline. Surf, dive, snorkel, sail, paddle, swim, play volleyball, or just grab a moment and catch your breath.
Take a breather.
Fortunately, Dreamworld, like many of Gold Coast’s theme parks offer a variety of attractions for all ages, and for all levels of adrenaline junkies.
Got your breath back? Then let’s go hunt down, and shoot 800 native animals with your camera! At Dreamworld’s Australian Wildlife Experience. Watch your kids’ rapid breathing as they behold Wiggles World, with its wiggly rides, and, of course, the Wiggles themselves.
Breathe in, and hold as we dive into Sea World’s spectacular marine life exhibits, awe-inspiring Shark Bay, and new multimillion dollar Sesame Street extravaganza.
Not to be outdone is Thunderbird Park. Australia’s number one Adventure Playground!
Dreamworld’s Big 6 Thrill Rides will have you panting for more. From life-flashing-before-your-eyes rides to the wet-your-pants 120 metre free fall to the latest I-don’t-want-to-die, 9 storey high, spinning machine, aptly christened The Claw.
Explore a breathtaking 112 hectares on horseback, go bush walking, unearth ancient treasures in the world’s largest Thunderegg mine, and conquer 68 aerial challenges and 8 flying foxes.
The Gold Coast’s amusement goes beyond theme parks. It is the perfect destination for anyone, or family, who lives and breathes excitement.
