RCI Vacation STORIES
New RCI Members Share Their Australian Vacation Story
A friendly local.
Burleigh Heads peak hour.
We joined RCI last September as a new family member. The three of us were among a team of 22 tourists that took the first package tour to Australia with Shanghai Runner on May 14. This was the first time that Shanghai Runner had organized an outback tour. As it was an important tour, Shanghai Runner appointed Ms Qin (Qin Hua) to lead the ten-day trip. The trip had quite a varied itinerary,
which we enjoyed a lot. Being outback in Australia we enjoyed the fresh air, the natural scenery and the gourmet food delights. our team leader Ms Qin (Qin Hua) was very helpful and friendly and treated us like one big family. Every day was new and exciting. during the trip, we saw beautiful scenery and animals living in harmony with people and the city.
While on the gold Coast we were able to take in the magnificent views of the sea at sunrise. The sea seemed to go on forever and touch the sky in the distance. It was a really unforgettable experience to see the ocean at sunrise especially when the sky changes to
a bright red colour. It is a fantastic feeling to to stand on the beach and look out over the ocean. It was just like the local tour guide had told us. We felt like we were the only ones there.
At the gold Coast we found the local people to be very polite and friendly when you greeted them on the beach in the morning. The people always walk on the left side of the road here. Moreover, Australian people know
how to enjoy themselves. you can see couples, lovers or old friends enjoying the hot coffee and breakfast in the cafes by the beach. you can take in the fresh air and see the sunrise by the sea while enjoying your breakfast. Seeing the people relaxed is always
a pleasure to observe. Australian people also like to exercise. In the morning, you can see people of all ages enjoying exercise along the beach. you see people exercising in other parts of Australia and it helps to give you a positive mental outlook on life. Australians also like to share a picnic by the beach or on the grass on the weekend, with their children or friends. People are allowed to play on the grass in Australia. Australian people are very carefree and they have a good social welfare system. Many families own yachts and 28% of these families have their own wharfs. Some people like to relax by taking their yachts out for a day’s fishing
Lastly I would like to tell you how I felt about our tour leader. I got to meet Mr Qin Hua personally for the first time. I found Ms Qin (Qin Hua) to be very amiable, conscientious, diligent and able to manage things
