Set amid the tropical forest and bamboo groves of the Nankunshan Nature Reserve in Guangdong Province, Crosswaters Ecolodge & Spa is the epitome of harmony with nature, marrying the beauty of bamboo and fengshui practices. The dramatic and magnificent bamboo bridge at the entrance of the lodge will take you back in time to ancient China.
The 62 luxurious villas are built in traditional Hakka style to celebrate the local heritage. There are various theme gardens throughout the lodge that showcase China’s rich garden history as well as Chinese poetry.
Just a one and half hour drive from Guangzhou or a two
and half hour drive from Hong Kong, the lodge also features a conference centre, wellness centre, infinity pool, nature activity centre, a traditional teahouse and on-site restaurants. All the vegetables and herbs used in the restaurants are sourced locally and the local dishes are sure to delight.
Constructed using predominantly bamboo and other environmentally friendly materials, the lodge was conceptualized by five internationally known architects including well known American EDSA Hitesh. The lodge is cocooned within a natural forest, flowing waters and breathtaking scenery and was named a top 50 eco-lodge by National Geographic.
