When is the best time to book a Points Exchange Vacation?
With RCI Points® you have even more flexibility to book your exchange vacation.
Beneficial Booking Times for Points Members
Book 12 – 13 months (or 396 – 366 days) prior to check-in to go back to your home resort during the week you own.
If the week you own doesn’t work for you, or you missed the 366 day mark to book your owned week, you can still book into your home resort 11 – 12 months (or 365 days) prior to check-in.
Additional Booking Periods for Points Members
The Standard reservation window opens 10 months prior to check-in. If you want to go to a Points resort, you can book anything in this window for 1 – 14 nights.
Or, you can book into a resort in the same Home Group as the resort where you own. For this, you may book 10 – 11 months (or 305 – 334 days) in advance of check-in date, which allows you access before the inventory opens up to non-owners.
